Our video collection

Our videos are focused on neurodiversity, mental health, and quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are extremely grateful to our interviewees for sharing their experiences with us! We also have several videos that are focused on clinical care/therapy for autistic individuals.

Below are some of our more recent videos. Our Youtube channel with the full set of videos can be found here!

This video discusses neurodiversity and psychosis, and specifically what a neurodiversity-affirming approach means in the context of psychosis. It also discusses the variety of ways in which psychosis can present and be experienced.

I was fortunate to have the chance to interview my friend Shayla-- we met in high school and it has been a privilege to still be able to stay in touch with her and learn more about her personal and professional journey, and in particular her experience with realizing later in life that she is neurodivergent.

This video discusses the urgent situation of Robert Roberson, an autistic man who is currently on death row in Texas and facing execution on 17 of October. We share our reasons for believing that Mr. Roberson is likely innocent and discuss actions that can be taken to advocate for his clemency.

Janelle Johnson very generously offered her time to discuss autism and mental health and to share her professional (both clinical and research) experience on what neurodiversity-affirming mental healthcare looks like and how to support flourishing in autistic individuals (particularly those who are multiply marginalized.) We also discuss perinatal care of autistic individuals.
