Lining objects up or sorting objects in a repetitive way has often been described "nonfunctional" play-- but if we take a different perspective, we can see the value and joy of repetitive play!

Sorting and lining up objects can bring great enjoyment, can aid in pattern recognition, and can be a tool for relaxation and imaginative thoughts.
